Those are all well served by others. The common thread in our own work is distance: our clients decide on Italian law from outside Italy, usually in a second language, often against a deadline set by something other than Italy. That is why our pages give the sequence and the deadline for each step rather than a single headline figure. From a distance, knowing when is worth more than knowing how much.

We do not advise on any other jurisdiction. When the answer to your question turns out to sit in another country's law, we say so instead of improvising, and the improvising is what usually costs people money.
How we work with facts and sources
Every number on this site is traceable. It carries the article of law or the official source it comes from, and the date it was last checked. Where the official sources do not settle a point, the page says so rather than filling the gap with a round figure.

We do not cite other advisers' marketing pages and we copy nothing from them. That discipline has a cost, and we accept it: it makes the pages longer, and it makes some of them end in "it depends, and here is exactly what it depends on" rather than in a clean number. That is the honest shape of the answer, and it is the difference between a page you can act on and a page you have to go and verify yourself.
Quotable, on purpose

When the law changes, the page changes and records when.
Written by one person, checked by another
Every substantive page names the person who wrote it and a second person who checked it, and the checker is never the author. It means somebody is answerable for what is on the page.

No price list
What a matter involves depends on the form of company, the shareholders, whether a notary attends in person or by videoconference, and what has to keep running afterwards. A figure without that behind it is a guess dressed as a quote. We quote against your case, once we know what your case is.
Answers in writing, whichever way you start
The office number is +39 02 555 9876 and it is answered monday to friday, 09:00 to 18:00 (cet/cest). What a call will not do is settle a question of Italian company law: that deserves an answer with the source attached, so it follows in writing to the same address every enquiry reaches. Ring to work out what you need; take away something you can forward to a bank or a notary.
No claimed Italian titles
We claim no Italian professional titles and no membership of a professional order. In Italy those sit in open public registers and a false claim is disproved in a minute. Where a matter requires a notary or a registered professional, it goes to one, and we tell you that it has.

The pages describe Italian law and procedure as they stand. Your own facts can change the answer, which is why the first thing we ask for is your facts.
