How this works

One reply covers the whole structure

Which form of company fits, what the notary will need from you, what has to exist before the company can trade, and in what order the steps run. Nothing here commits you to anything, and filling it in costs nothing.

Leave a field blank rather than guessing

A blank tells us a point is still open; a guess sends us down the wrong road and we find out three weeks later. If you do not yet know how many shareholders there will be, that is itself a useful answer.

Do not upload anything here

Identity documents, proof of address and source-of-funds papers are asked for later, through a secure link, once the structure is settled. This page stores nothing.

Fields marked * are required. Everything else is optional and a blank is an acceptable answer.

A. Contact

Who we write back to, and in which language.

With the country code, for example +39 for Italy. Optional: we work by email unless you ask otherwise.
Where you are tax resident. It decides which documents Italy asks you for and whether reciprocity has to be checked.
Italian documents stay in Italian. This is only the language we correspond in.
B. The company

What you want to end up with. If you are still choosing, the comparison is on Italian company types.

One per line. Give alternatives: the first choice is not always free at the register.
In plain words, not a legal object clause. It decides the activity code, whether an authorisation is needed and how a bank will read the file.
Leave it blank if it is not decided. We will tell you what the form you choose requires and what a bank expects to see.
A corporate shareholder means corporate documents, legalisation and a beneficial owner filing, so it changes the paperwork.
